Overview
Migdal’s online sales process transforms the way agents handle insurance and finance sales by replacing outdated PDF forms with a streamlined digital workflow. Designed to run alongside customer conversations, the process enhances efficiency, reduces paperwork, and ensures a faster, more seamless experience for both agents and clients.
The Process
The project began with in-depth research into the agents' existing workflow, identifying pain points in the manual process. Based on these insights, we structured a streamlined digital flow that aligns with real-time customer interactions. The design focused on clarity, efficiency, and ease of use, ensuring that agents could navigate the process quickly while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
The Challenges
Adapting to Agents' Work Habits
Migdal’s agents were accustomed to a manual, paper-based workflow, and transitioning to a digital process required careful consideration of their existing habits. The challenge was to design an interface that felt intuitive and aligned with their natural way of working, minimizing the learning curve. To achieve this, we conducted research on their daily routines and incorporated familiar terminology, logical step progression, and minimal data entry to ensure a smooth transition.
Simplifying a Complex Process
The original manual process involved multiple steps and required agents to input a large amount of data, which could be overwhelming. The challenge was to simplify the user experience while maintaining all essential details. By breaking the process into clear, digestible steps and using intuitive UI elements, we reduced cognitive load and made the digital transition feel natural and effortless.

Overview
The process consists of eight structured steps, each guiding the agent through the sales flow in a clear and organized manner. The interface ensures a logical progression, allowing agents to track their stage in real-time while maintaining a smooth and efficient conversation with the customer.
Step 1 – Client Details
The agent begins by entering the client’s information. For existing clients, details are retrieved using an ID search, while new clients' information is entered manually. There is also an option to add a secondary insured, such as a family member.


Step 2 – Product Selection
The agent selects the insurance products relevant to the customer, categorized into Risk, Health, and Finance. Upon selection, the system prompts the agent to fill in the necessary details for each product.


Step 3 – Quote
This step provides an interim summary with a detailed quote. The process only continues once the customer confirms their interest, ensuring efficiency and preventing wasted time if they decide not to proceed later. If the customer is hesitant, the agent can easily send the quote for review before moving forward.

Step 4 – Completing Details
After the customer receives a detailed quote, the agent proceeds to fill in the remaining details to complete the insurance process. This step is essential for the agent to collect the relevant details that impact the price, while the remaining details are standard information that needs to be completed.

Step 5 – Health Questionnaire
A mandatory step for assessing the customer's eligibility for insurance. The agent efficiently reviews and fills out the required health-related questions.


Step 6 – Upload Documents
The agent uploads necessary client documents to complete the process efficiently.


Step 7 – Payment
The agent selects the customer's preferred payment method and completes the transaction.

Step 8 – Finalizing the Process
The agent reviews the completed application and submits it for company approval.
